NIKLAS TURNER OLOVZON was born in 1976 in the far north of Sweden where he grew up. Spending much of his time as a youth at the hockey rink, Niklas is now a proud board member of the Luleå Hockey-team which has been around since he was a child. After studying Business at Stockholm University, he now runs a successful marketing firm based in central Stockholm.
Today, he lives with his family in a small village in Dalarna, a county sparsely populated and with extensive tracts of wilderness, not unlike the setting of his debut suspense novel ICEBERG, the first part in THE HIDDEN SERIES.
ICEBERG
Deep in the forests of Dalarna lies Tassby, a tiny village laden with secrets.
When a berry picker disappears in the dark woods, the villagers are shaken and fingers point to the resident outsider, Lars-Inge. Most convinced of his guilt is the town gossip, Liss-Kulla, and soon the police come knocking, looking to know Lars-Inge’s secrets. But what is he really hiding?
Whilst Lars-Inge’s future is looking more and more dim, the lights of the abandoned manor across the lake are turned on for the first time in forever. Who has arrived at the village and what are they doing there?
In Luleå, 500 miles to the north, in the northernmost part of Sweden, a taxi driver roams the icy streets, looking for revenge, and a desperate mother is frantically searching for her lost child. Has the boy gone through the ice, or has someone taken him?
As the fates of these four people come together in an explosive collision at Christmas, long buried family secrets rise to the surface, and the lives of many are suddenly at risk.
ICEBERG is the first part of THE HIDDEN SERIES.
